Application Developer for Qatar - Qatar - Doha

VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Application Developer for one of its clients which is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company in Qatar with the following and terms and conditions.

 

Skill set required:

 

• Bachelor Degree in IT or IT related field

• 5 or more years’ experience in developing software applications, preferably, out of which at least 3 years with insurance applications.

• Experience of using Business Objects and report building functions from User through to Admin.

• Experience of BI reports creation and publishing

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Oracle 12c

• In-depth knowledge and experience in SQL and PL/SQL including tuning.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in Import/Export, SQL*Loader planning.

• Oracle OCP Certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with Oracle specific tools and utilities.

• Knowledge of Quest TOAD

• Knowledge of PLSQL & SQL Developer

• Knowledge of XML and HTML

• Knowledge of open source web development and Java

 

Technical and functional experience in development activities of following;

 

• Quotation Process

• Creation/updation/Deletion of Policy

• Different types of Endorsement creation and updation

• Different treaty Setup

• Reinsurance Plan creation

• Claim Processing

• Payment Processing

• Interface of Insurance application to the other system like Oracle Apps

• Different reports relate to Policy, reinsurance, Quotation, claims, Payments and MIS.

 

Roles and Responsibility’s:

 

• Knowledge of the Project Management and in the preparation of the document like Project Plans, WBS and Project Status reports.

• Data structure design, development and creation of packages, procedures and functions based on business requirements in Oracle Database 12c.

• Designing and development in forms and reports 12c and BI Publisher 12c.

• Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle reporting databases.

• Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code.

• Provision of support and assistance in the design, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications

• Creation and maintenance of SQL queries and routines

• Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge for various reporting requirements.

• Writing / Tuning data ingestion procedures from external suppliers and partners using PL/SQL, SQL loader, 3rd party tools like Toad etc.

• Required to deal with complex data models and object relational database mapping, while producing complex reports
