Corrosion Technician - UAE - Abu Dhabi

On line corrosion monitoring- Carry out corrosion coupon retrieving, retrieved coupon cleaning, weight loss measurement according to corrosion monthly annual program and standard procedure for safe on line retrieving operation.

Carry out periodic servicing and pressure testing of Retriever tools and Service valves. Maintain and record all corrosion monitoring consumable spares to maintain uninterrupted corrosion monitoring of the system.

• Check the effectiveness of ICCP system by performing potential measurement at all test points & adjustment, Anode current output survey and adjustment, TR current output survey and adjustment, Checking rectifier efficiency

, Perform Interference testing and mitigating, Continuity bonds checking, Soil Resistivity survey, Trouble shooting to maintain system working satisfactorily, Checking and ensure effectiveness of insulating flanges, Calibrating and maintaining CP meters and half cells.

• Perform corrosion probe survey, data acquisition from on-line units and evaluate corrosion rate.

• Identify type and mechanisms of corrosion (e.g. pitting corrosion, galvanic corrosion, MIC, HIC...etc).

•Prepares daily, weekly and progress/status reports, and entry data into system as necessary.

 

 

Maximum salary can be offered is AED 6000/month (10 hours per day and 6 days per week) including your agency charges.

Provide Accommodation, food, laundry and transportation at site.

Leave rotation :  1 month paid leave in a year with return ticket.
