Senior Technical Coordinator - Qatar - Al Khor

Natural Resources are seeking to recruit on behalf of their client a Senior TECHNICAL COORDINATOR Field Development for their Operations Department on in Qatar. Experience of 15 years of which at least 13 years in a senior position in the oil and gas industry, within NOC/IOC's, covering most facets of Engineering and Production operation with strong experience in operations excellence management system, within IOC's ( Shell, Exxon, Chevron...), NOC's Reporting to the Operations Manager.

Purpose

• To undertake and review all "Conceptual Studies for the field development aimed at maximizing Oil & Gas Production and hence client's interests and gain. It also provide strong technical/staff support in an advisory capacity with the aim of increasing efficiency and reducing cost of operations and recommend for better resource utilization.
• Review and recommend updates on all Departments Operational Procedures, Emergency procedures, Operations Standing Instructions etc
• To provide a focal point for all field development activities in the form of major projects and projects of major importance for Fields. As well as to provide a focal point for co-ordination of various issues and form part of a nucleus think tank to help review/improve matters related to production, maintenance and other support facilities.
• To provide a focal point for co-ordination and implementation of Business Plan, provide input for Operation Department's objectives and targets and provide collated inputs for future enhancement. Assist Departments in tackling inter-departmental and inter-company issues effectively and helps generate pragmatic approach in tackling complex issues.

Experience & Skills

• BSc Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
• Good command over English language is essential.
• 15 years of experience which at least 13 years should have been in a senior position in the oil and gas industry covering most facets of Engineering and Production operations.
• Shall be fully computer literate and able to independently generate reports and presentations and be a self-starter.
• Shall have proven record of performance in successfully handling Oil Fields operations, Maintenance practices, Process, Onshore facilities, pipelines (design, construction and repairs) Plant Designs and contract reviews, cost analysis, Project Engineering work Analysis, Budget, procurement related activities, Improvement of production techniques, practices, involvement of procedures and regulations, and has good knowledge of design/Engineering of Hydrocarbon Industry.
