Technical Interface Coordinator: Refining - Qatar - Doha

Natural Resources are seeking to recruit on behalf of their client a TECHNICAL INTERFACE COORDINATOR for their Refining Department on a long term definite contract based in Qatar

 

Purpose

 

To provide a high level of specialist advice and support to the Refining Directorate and Refinery Departments/ Project Managers t facilitate resolution of major Refining Directorate issues including :

 

• Corporate issues raised by other Directorate/ Departments such as Marketing, Corporate Planning, New Ventures.
• Major issues between Departments within refining Directorate.
• Coordinate with Refinery Department Managers on management improvement initiatives.
• New development projects.
• Efforts to improve Refinery Performance.

 

Experience & Skills

 

• Comprehensive experience of more the 15 years with proficiency in a number of areas of the hydrocarbon industry, with 12 years in a senior technical or managerial role.•
• Fluent in English for both written and oral communication.
• An effective communicator, able to solve complex problems effectively and tactfully by building consensus and resolving conflicts.
• Fully computer literate with proven skills in relevant software
• Preferable to have knowledge of client operating facilities, joint venture companies and business needs.
• Degree in principal engineering discipline; a post graduate degree in engineering business, or related field strongly recommended.
